📋 Description

• Support operational and strategic analytics projects through cross-functional collaboration • Lead domain-specific projects and manage cross-functional initiatives • Develop project methodologies and ensure project success • Transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights for operational and strategic decision-making • Manage recurring and ad hoc reporting requests • Develop dashboards and data visualizations • Partner with stakeholders to deliver accurate, meaningful analytics for business initiatives and presentations • Analyze domain workflows for operational bottlenecks • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements • Own business analysis for analytics use cases • Lead improvement initiatives and domain analytics information-system testing • Collaborate with teams to drive value • Ensure alignment with healthcare regulations and data-governance standards • Design complex reports for strategic decision support using front-end tools • Identify process-optimization and cost-reduction opportunities • Translate business requirements into analytical deliverables • Implement data-validation processes and quality controls • Collaborate with BI teams to develop domain-reporting solutions • Contribute to the analytics community and knowledge sharing • Mentor junior analysts and develop team capabilities • Partner with domain leadership on performance-improvement initiatives • Ensure safe care and adherence to Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, standards, budget, productivity, and quality requirements • Support department goals, serve as a resource to less experienced staff, and perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business or related field preferred; Master’s or advanced clinical degree preferred • Advanced analytics/healthcare certifications preferred • Domain-specific certification or accreditation preferred, including FACHE, CHFP, CAHIMS, CPHIMS • Data Science/Analytics certifications (vary) • Epic certifications preferred, including Caboodle, Cogito, Slicer Dicer, Revenue or Access Data Model • 2–5 years of domain expertise in operations, finance, or healthcare • 3–5 years with demonstrated healthcare analytics success • Working knowledge of reporting platforms and data visualization tools • Report design expertise • Competent experience with healthcare databases and business applications • Solid database query and visualization tool skills preferred • Competent cross-domain workflow and process knowledge • Competent-level understanding of domain metrics, organizational benchmarks, and regulatory requirements • Complex data mining and analysis • Multi-variable trend identification • Root cause analysis • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, organizational, and time-management skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Experience presenting data and insights to business leaders • Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies • Must be able to work remotely from an eligible state; Memorial Hermann cannot hire remote workers in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Utah, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Washington, Alabama, Mississippi, Illinois, Oregon, Arkansas, or Iowa
