📋 Description

• Lead and develop the Product Design team, line managing five designers • Set standards for craft, judgement and ownership • Define and uphold the experience bar across customer-facing native, web and back-office platforms • Ensure coherence across squads and user journeys • Shape long-term experience direction and codify guiding principles • Mature and drive adoption of design systems • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership on strategy, problem framing and trade-offs • Contribute hands-on to complex, high-impact initiatives through visual and interaction design • Collaborate with Brand, Creative, Growth, CRM and Games teams • Explore and integrate emerging technologies, including AI • Strengthen structures and standards that scale experience quality as the company grows

🎯 Requirements

• Experience operating at scale and shaping design direction across multiple teams and surfaces • Experience building or maturing design systems • Hands-on visual and interaction design capability • Experience contributing to high-stakes initiatives • Experience partnering strategically with Product and Engineering leaders • Experience developing designers through feedback, coaching and hiring • Exceptional visual and interaction design taste • Strong product instincts • Clear and practical communication across disciplines and seniority levels • Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI • Deep interest in building well-designed digital products • Full right to work in the UK • Currently based in the UK • Must not require sponsorship to work in the UK
