📋 Description

• Own and define Midnite's creative vision and long-term design direction • Set standards for visual and interaction design across products • Shape the end-to-end customer experience across native apps, web and internal platforms • Partner with executive leadership, Product and Engineering to influence strategy and product decisions • Provide creative direction on ambitious, high-impact initiatives from concept through delivery • Lead, inspire and develop the Product Design function • Drive the evolution of design systems and principles • Collaborate with Brand, Creative, Growth, CRM and Games on a joined-up customer journey • Champion emerging technologies, including AI, in design and product development • Shape design practices, talent investment and product experience standards as Midnite scales

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record of shaping creative vision and product experiences at a senior or executive level • Outstanding design taste and strong creative instincts • Portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual and interaction design • Experience owning design direction across complex, multi-platform products, ideally in fast-moving, consumer-focused technology businesses • Strong commercial and product judgement • Track record of influencing product strategy and driving meaningful change through design • Passion for design craft and ability to challenge, inspire and elevate work • Experience building and developing high-performing design teams • Strong creative direction and ability to guide complex design challenges • Experience shaping design systems, principles and practices at scale • Confident communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders • Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI • Ability to thrive in a high-growth environment • Must be based in the UK • Must have the full right to work in the UK
