📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade control-plane microservices, custom Kubernetes operators, and reconciliation engines in Rust and Go • Author functional and non-functional requirements, architectural specifications, system sequence diagrams, and gRPC/Protobuf and REST API schemas • Develop custom integrations for modern network operating systems including SONiC, NVUE, and Cumulus, and DPU hardware platforms • Instrument services end-to-end with OpenTelemetry traces and metrics • Perform systematic root-cause analysis across polyglot distributed systems • Participate in review-gated pull-request workflows across Rust, Go, and SQL codebases • Ensure high test coverage through mock-driven testing • Contribute to open-source projects • Provide dependable on-call coverage and participate in design and cross-domain code reviews

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • 5+ years of software engineering experience in cloud-native platforms or systems programming • Primary mastery of Rust, including Tokio async runtime, Tonic, Axum, and sqlx • Proficiency in Go • Strong background in async concurrency models, lock-free patterns, distributed state handling, and mock-driven testing • gRPC/Protobuf contract design via tonic/prost • Schema evolution using zero-copy serialization and compile-time type generation • Experience writing custom Kubernetes controllers/operators using kube-rs with CRD-driven reconciliation loops • Test-driven design and highly testable code with mock interfaces for external service dependencies • Proven experience writing architectural specifications and participating in cross-functional design reviews • Advanced SQL/PostgreSQL fluency • Expertise in BGP, MP-BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, L3VNI, route targets, and route server design • Hands-on experience with SONiC, Cumulus Linux, and NVUE • Knowledge of NVIDIA DOCA, Host-Based Networking, BlueField DPU architectures, and the DPF operator model • Understanding of InfiniBand, NVLink/NMX-M partitioning, and RoCEv2 • Advanced knowledge of Linux netlink, network namespaces, routing tables, DHCP, and DNS service implementations • Familiarity with Calico and Cilium CNI plugins • Expertise in PXE/iPXE, UEFI, Secure Boot, measured boot, and TPM attestation • Proficiency in Redfish, IPMI, and BMC abstractions • In-depth knowledge of boot chains, systemd, initramfs, and BIOS configuration matrices • Experience with PKI, X.509, TLS, SPIFFE/SVID, Vault, KMS, Keycloak, OAuth2/JWT, and RBAC • Experience with KubeVirt/KVM • Demonstrated participation in or maintenance of open-source systems projects
