📋 Description

• Lead, develop, and inspire the People Operations and Talent Acquisition teams, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement • Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of compensation and total rewards programs that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with Modern Health’s values and business objectives • Ensure accurate and compliant payroll operations and benefits administration for a distributed, remote workforce • Own the HRIS strategy, ensuring data integrity, process automation, and system enhancements to support business needs • Develop and execute innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract, engage, and hire top talent across all functions and levels • Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams (e.g., Legal, Finance, IT) to drive organizational effectiveness, change management, and workforce planning initiatives • Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) in all people programs and processes • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, providing guidance on complex employee relations, organizational design, and performance management matters. • Monitor and analyze people metrics, trends, and best practices to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations • Represent Modern Health’s values and mission in all internal and external interactions

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in people operations leadership roles, ideally in high-growth, remote-first environments. Health tech experience a plus • Deep expertise in compensation administration, total rewards, payroll, HRIS, and talent acquisition • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing, distributed teams and collaborating across functions • Demonstrated success in designing and scaling people operations and talent acquisition strategies in dynamic, fast-paced organizations • Strong knowledge of employment law, regulatory compliance, and HR best practices • Experience with HRIS and people systems (e.g., Rippling, Greenhouse, Pave or similar) • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and project management skills. • High emotional intelligence, integrity, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills. • Comfortable with ambiguity and adept at leading through change • Passion for Modern Health’s mission and a commitment to fostering an inclusive, people-first culture
