📋 Description

• Work directly with enterprise customers on projects leveraging Generative AI, LLMs, and modern application development • Refactor applications, migrate legacy databases, and optimize performance using MongoDB • Prototype and build AI-powered features using LLMs and Generative AI frameworks • Improve software development workflows and application functionality • Help customers implement microservices-based architectures, intelligent automation, and AI-enhanced applications • Influence MongoDB’s AI and software development roadmap through insights from implementations and customer needs • Collaborate across engineering, product, and customer teams to create scalable, resilient software solutions • Help organizations migrate legacy databases, modernize architecture, and integrate AI-driven functionality

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering • Proven track record of delivering impactful technical solutions for enterprise clients • Experience preferably using Java, SQL, and Python • Engineering degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Network Engineering, or Electrical Engineering • In-depth knowledge of AI/ML concepts, tools, and open-source development • Experience designing and implementing AI-powered applications highly preferred • Proficiency in test-driven development methodologies • Familiarity with monolithic and microservices architectures • Experience with database migration and refactoring • Academic research experience in parsing, AI/ML, or programming languages preferred • Must be able to work remotely within the U.S. or from a MongoDB North America office
