📋 Description

• Promote teamwork, communicate and coordinate in the team as well as across teams • Release our software in a timely manner with the expected quality, handling complex build environments and product setups • Understand the role of dependencies and life cycle implications in maintaining an open source project • Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders like Development, QA, Maintenance and Product Management teams and more • Prepare and maintain a calendar of upcoming releases throughout the year

🎯 Requirements

• Proven track record experience in release engineering and automation • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, TravisCI, GitHub Actions) • Good knowledge of a scripting language (like bash or Python) • Advanced knowledge of Git • Familiarity with the RPM package format and specfiles • Experience with building containers (Docker, Podman or Kubernetes) • Comfortable with working on GNU/Linux based distributions • Experience with a system configuration management (e.g. SaltStack, Ansible, Puppet) • Solid English language skills to communicate successfully in a professional environment, and present ideas to different audiences
