📋 Description

• Commissioning new machines and process engineering systems at customer sites • Performing software tests, I/O checks, and functional tests • Modifying and optimizing PLC controls based on Siemens TIA Portal • Analyzing and troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and fieldbus systems • Optimizing machine and process parameters during commissioning • Connecting machine controls to customers’ control, SCADA, and MES systems • Coordinating technical matters with customers, project management, sales, and internal departments • Supporting mechanical work and the assembly and final setup of machines at customer sites • Documenting completed commissioning activities and technical modifications • Providing occasional support for service assignments • Participating in paid on-call duty on a few weekends per year

🎯 Requirements

• Completed technical training, for example as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Industrial Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification • Practical experience with PLC controls and automation technology • Current, relevant knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal • Experience with SIMATIC Step 7 and WinCC is an advantage • Initial professional experience in commissioning, mechanical and plant engineering, production facilities, or a comparable technical environment • Knowledge of process engineering is an advantage • Willingness to work practically and mechanically on machines and systems in addition to PLC technology • Enjoyment of direct customer contact, combined with a solution-oriented and independent approach to work • High flexibility and willingness to travel throughout Germany from Monday to Friday • Ideally, residence in southern Germany • Very good German language skills • English language skills are an advantage • Willingness to participate in paid on-call duty on a few weekends per year
