• Experience with ADP Workforce Now • Process biweekly or semi-monthly payroll for hourly, non-exempt and exempt employees, contractors and practice owners in accordance with government regulations • Enter/audit employee payroll changes (i.e. pay rates, titles, department changes, payroll deductions) • Follow all processing procedures in accordance with payroll SOPs • Communicate with physician partners, practice managers, and employees to respond to inquiries, resolve payroll errors and issues • Assist in payroll reports preparation for audits, year-end processes, and upon managers’ requests • Submit and manage tax-related notices through ADP Smart Compliance • Respond to accounting inquiries and requests • Assist with Worker’s Compensation Audits • Manage benefit deductions arrears and repayment plans • Submit employee 401(k) contributions for each payroll cycle • Work closely with payroll, HR, and accounting departments regarding employee and/or policy changes affecting payroll • Maintain confidentiality of employee pay and personal information • Work on special projects as needed
• 5+ years of experience with multi-state payroll • Excellent working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, ADP iReports, ADP Smart Compliance and ADP Essential Time & Attendance • Experience should be recent and within the last 3 years • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, primarily Excel) • Familiarity with payroll taxes, benefits, wage & hour laws • Experience with traditional and Roth 401(k) plans • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to establish and meet deadlines • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask • Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability • High level of critical thinking skills • Ability to work independently • Knowledge of multiple pay types is a plus (i.e. W2, 1099 and Schedule K-1)
