📋 Description

• Develop cutting-edge cloud solutions supporting millions of customer devices worldwide • Write clean, maintainable and efficient backend code, primarily in TypeScript, with Terraform as needed • Architect, implement, test and support high-quality cloud-based software on AWS • Design, implement, monitor and support services • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and support • Troubleshoot and debug software defects • Collaborate with engineering, firmware, support and production teams • Support application of a testing trophy throughout the software stack

🎯 Requirements

• Expert level software development experience with Typescript • Intermediate level of cloud infrastructure experience, preferably AWS using IaC • Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines, including CircleCI • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Vitest • Familiarity with agile development, including Kanban and Scrum • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, DynamoDB and Redis • Strong debugging skills, ideally down to network level with tools such as Wireshark • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work as part of a distributed multinational team and independently • Very basic understanding of electrical engineering concepts such as kW, kWh, Amps and Volts (desirable) • Experience with Python, C, C# or Rust, and frameworks such as React (desirable) • Experience with smart home devices, vehicle charge points or solar diverters (desirable)
