📋 Description

• Engineer infrastructure technology for the Mainframe CICS Environment while complying with security, resilience, sustainability and operational requirements • Build in observability and guardrails • Use automation to provide testing and a route to live for products • Work with customers to help them use products appropriately through users’ CI or CD pipelines • Share engineering best practices with colleagues across the bank • Contribute to and manage the selection, creation and maintenance of Mainframe CICS platform • Develop products using modern engineering practices and tools • Collaborate with stakeholders to inform product roadmaps and detail technology lifecycles • Support engineered products, respond to feedback and feature requests, and resolve production issues • Design intuitive, self-service infrastructure products within a team • Contribute to infrastructure as code solutions • Provide operational support for pattern or product-related issues • Generate innovative ideas and drive delivery through product features

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in software development or automation scripting such as Python or Shell • Understanding of the software development lifecycle • Experience utilizing modern infrastructure as code tooling • Good understanding of Agile working practices and toolsets • Ability to relate everyday work to the vision of the feature team, platform and domain • Experience in Mainframe or CICS or CICS Liberty • Working knowledge of developing CI or CD pipelines using modern tooling • Experience using observability tools and techniques • Ability to use data, information and user sentiment to continuously improve solutions • Experience working with technology deployed to an on premise datacentre • Understanding of a DevOps mindset, collaboration, automation and tooling
