• Lead the recruiting, training, and mentoring of Key Account Managers within the defined area • Establish distribution policies and strategies with the Senior Director of Sales • Manage discount policies to drive sales and profitability growth • Establish regional sales goals, expense and sample budgets, and trade show participation strategies • Collect, evaluate, communicate, and respond to competitive intelligence • Create new product sales plans with Product Managers and Key Account Managers • Remove internal and external barriers to support teamwork, sales, and order fulfillment • Assist with past-due accounts, dealer collections, pricing reviews, and large project quotes • Lead recognition and teamwork initiatives through weekly and monthly team highlights • Manage Made to Stock and Made to Order product selection to minimize slow-moving and obsolete inventory • Assist with monthly and annual territory forecasting and provide updates to the executive team • Create and present business and strategy presentations • Forecast territory needs with Key Account Managers using SPOT • Manage large dealer accounts serving multiple territories and ensure consistent service and pricing • Establish dealer programs and multi-year projects that generate company and category growth • Build relationships with large growers • Develop and manage promotions with ROI objectives, demand forecasts, and margin-impact analysis • Lead internal communication about Netafim policy changes • Plan and host regional meetings • Set Key Account Manager objectives and conduct performance reviews • Develop individualized development plans and customer growth plans with Key Account Managers • Ensure strategic alignment with Commercial Operation Management teams
• Understanding of the selling, marketing, and financial aspects of managing a business • Ability to address the needs of end-users, specifiers, wholesalers, and other sales-chain influencers • Ability to sell high-value packages of products and services • Ability to guide and mentor subordinates • Ability to build and deliver presentations, including ROI and profitability calculations • Ability to manage and direct a sales force to achieve results • Ability to work with diverse internal and external personality types and styles • Ability to motivate, train, and counsel subordinates • Demonstrated ability to maintain focused activity and coordinate subordinate activities • Results-oriented, proactive, accountable, self-directed, and willing to take risks • Excellent oral and written communication skills, sound judgment, ethics, and integrity • Ability to lift products up to 60 lbs. in and out of a vehicle • Ability to load and unload boxes of literature and/or marketing materials • Ability to travel 50% or more of the time • 4-year college degree in a technical field such as engineering or agronomy • Prior dealer and/or end-user experience with irrigation or related technology is highly desirable • Must be able to read, speak, and understand English • Valid driver's license required and ability to be covered under the Corporate liability policy
