📋 Description

• Own the company's day-to-day operating cadence, including planning, reviews, metrics, and follow-through • Step in for the COO across operations when they are out, carrying decisions and momentum end to end • Serve as connective tissue across departments and ensure cross-functional commitments are delivered • Hold department leaders accountable to commitments, clarify blockers, and drive decisions • Turn half-defined problems into structured plans with clear owners and timelines • Drive leverage through the leadership team rather than doing the work personally • Build and improve company systems, workflows, and automation using AI as a primary lever • Provide decision-ready analysis and clear recommendations to the COO and executive team • Prioritize work when everything is urgent and maintain organizational focus • Cover the COO's operating seat within weeks of joining and make consequential decisions across a complex, multi-entity business

🎯 Requirements

• Proven senior operator experience as a Director or Senior Director of Operations or Business Operations, Chief of Staff, or Deputy COO • Real decision authority and a track record of owning outcomes rather than coordinating other people's work • Demonstrated experience scaling something in a fast-moving, growing environment • Experience building structure where little existed • Self-starter who ramps fast, asks sharp questions, finds answers independently, and delivers without a training program or hand-holding • Thrives in ambiguity and is comfortable operating on a complex business before it is fully mapped • Willingness to hold senior leaders accountable and create friction to achieve clarity and decisions • Direct, structured, decision-ready communication style • Systems-minded with active, working fluency in AI and automation • Strong experience sufficient for real judgment and meaningful growth into the role • Genuine curiosity about AI and comfort using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and workflow automation platforms • Preferred: Experience scaling operations in a high-growth, multi-entity, or PE-backed environment • Preferred: Healthcare SaaS, RPM, CCM, or regulated-operations exposure • Preferred: Chief of Staff or VP Operations background with real decision authority
