• Onboard, manage, and administer Non-Standard / Specialist investments across the Nucleus group • Conduct thorough due diligence assessments on Non-Standard / Specialist investments and determine acceptability • Make recommendations with detailed rationales to Senior Leadership • Liaise with administration support to finalise asset onboarding and verify accurate title receipt • Act as a contact for escalations and complex technical investment issues • Process client instructions and manage internal and external queries across multiple channels • Assess risks associated with Non-Standard / Specialist investments and alignment with regulatory guidance • Identify departmental risks and escalate concerns to the Technical Team Leader • Produce and use management information reports and board papers to support risk mitigation and accurate record keeping • Create, review, and enhance process guides, key literature, controls, communication templates, and webpages • Support regulatory data requests • Review adjustments to existing or ongoing fees for active and impaired Non-Standard investments • Review Workplace Pension Scheme data, produce investment reports, and take forward actions and customer notifications • Share knowledge and support colleagues across the Technical Investment team and wider business • Build and maintain third-party relationships with suppliers and clients
• Previous experience in the financial services industry, ideally within a SIPP provider • Understanding of the SIPP investment lifecycle and risks inherent with a wide range of investments • Knowledge of different asset classes and their impact on operational processes • Excellent relationship-building skills • Ability to prioritise high-impact work while maintaining attention to detail • Excellent communication skills • Ability to anticipate the needs of colleagues and juggle conflicting priorities • Ability to think laterally and develop new solutions to existing problems • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills • Attention to detail • Ability to manage multiple complex tasks and projects • Ability to work within agreed timeframes, KPIs, service standards, and regulatory reporting requirements
