📋 Description

• Lead expert business analysis across products and client projects throughout the end-to-end development lifecycle • Investigate business situations to identify efficiency, innovation, and value opportunities, recommending evidence-based improvements • Apply advanced analysis to identify root causes of complex business issues and produce authoritative recommendations • Assess impacts of proposed changes on processes, systems, and stakeholders to support project and programme decision-making and risk management • Engage and influence senior stakeholders, presenting analysis outcomes and resolving concerns and conflicts • Plan and facilitate workshops to elicit requirements and analyse business needs • Select, validate, refine, prioritise, document, quality-assure, and maintain traceability of business requirements • Define and communicate business analysis scope boundaries • Lead and quality-assure business process mapping and modelling • Identify, document, and analyse business rules • Analyse user interactions, needs, and behaviours to inform solution design and usability improvements • Direct wireframe production with developers and UX experts where appropriate • Lead user acceptance testing, analyse outcomes, and own issues through resolution • Own and prioritise backlog items aligned with business objectives and delivery plans • Coach others in effective backlog management • Conduct 1:1s, performance reviews, development planning, talent calibration, and succession planning where applicable • Manage sickness records and joiners, movers, and leavers with Group HR support

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive business analysis experience (typically 6+ years), ideally within financial services or a WealthTech environment • Deep working knowledge of business analysis techniques and tools, and their practical application across the full project and business lifecycle • Demonstrable experience of leading, mentoring, and developing others, ideally within a business analysis or product team • Proven ability to produce and quality-assure clear business requirements and process documentation • Experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, communicating effectively with audiences of varying technical understanding • Previous experience working within a change-focused environment • Experience of working within a software development organisation is preferable but not essential • Calm, positive, and decisive under pressure • Natural leadership and team-development capability • Self-driven commitment to personal and professional growth • Enthusiastic, adaptable, proactive, and highly organised, with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Logical problem-solving approach • Integrity and confidentiality awareness, particularly regarding financial data
