📋 Description

• Serving as the primary client contact, providing strategic counsel on publication planning, timelines, and best practices. • Managing all stages of the publications process, including publication plan development, manuscript and abstract submissions, congress materials, and post-publication communications. • Partnering with scientific, editorial, and project management teams to ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of scientific accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. • Leading internal teams to ensure smooth workflow, clear communication, and high-quality output across multiple concurrent projects. • Overseeing project financials, including budget management, SOW development, forecasting, and resource allocation. • Proactively identifying opportunities for account growth and contributing to new business initiatives. • Ensuring all activities comply with Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines and relevant industry standards.

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (advanced degree preferred). • 4–6 years of experience in a medical communications agency, with significant exposure to publications planning and delivery. • Strong project and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and SOW development. • A proven ability to manage complex publication programs and collaborate effectively with authors, clients, and cross-functional internal teams. • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. • Working knowledge of Datavision or similar publications management systems (a plus).
