📋 Description

• Lead one or two teams of 6-8 engineers to develop and deploy microservices on a low-latency platform using Golang, AWS, SQL/NoSQL, gRPC, and Kafka. • Mentor junior engineering managers to enhance their leadership and management skills. • Manage performance of direct reports, guiding them to define and achieve their growth goals. • Oversee agile ceremonies to ensure timely and predictable delivery of software aligned with the company roadmap. • Continuously evaluate and improve team performance metrics. • Identify areas for improvement in teams, processes, or technologies, and implement strategies to address them. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quant engineers, to ensure alignment and deliver results. • Participate in architecture and code reviews, providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement. • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, driving innovation. • Champion diversity and inclusion within a multinational team across Europe.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a focus on backend development and cloud technologies. • 3+ years of success in leading and managing engineering teams to deliver high-quality software. • Expertise in Scrum and Agile methodologies for efficient project execution. • Advanced technical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex challenges. • Experience mentoring junior engineers and supporting their professional growth. • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
