📋 Description

• Manage New Source Review, non-attainment NSR, PSD, and Title V air quality permitting. • Perform regulatory air dispersion modeling using US EPA-recommended models such as AERMOD. • Calculate emissions and develop emissions inventories. • Conduct BACT assessments. • Perform regulatory applicability analyses covering state, local, and federal regulations. • Administer and manage a team of consultants. • Perform quality control of personal work and managed projects. • Communicate effectively with external and internal customers. • Develop and maintain trusting professional relationships with clients. • Promote Spirit externally to clients. • Mentor and train team members. • Participate in continuous improvement programs and support team efforts. • Manage and work on multiple fast-paced projects.

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. or above from an accredited college or university in engineering or a related scientific discipline. • Minimum 5 to 7 years of air quality consulting experience. • Project Manager experience is highly preferred, emphasizing project timelines, budgets, and successful delivery. • Understanding of AERMOD, SCREEN3, TRI-ME Pro, and environmental analysis tools. • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint. • Proficiency with time and expense tracking software. • Advanced understanding of relevant regulations related to tasks, projects, and client operations. • Technical competency to solve problems and scope new projects accurately and completely. • Ability to work across multiple industries or multiple clients within a large industry. • Understanding of engineering concepts such as chemical processes and emissions control technologies. • High level of professional ethics. • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. • Organizational skills and attention to detail. • Professionalism to establish and maintain long-term working relationships. • Ability to mentor and train team members. • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. • Analytical problem-solving skills. • Effective time management. • Effective written and verbal communication. • Less than 25% travel.
