📋 Description

• Work on a broad range of debtor- and creditor-side situations, including distressed and special situations, financial restructurings and takeovers, refinancing and debt capital solutions • Lead day-to-day workstreams on live mandates and marketing projects • Develop, review and challenge complex financial models and valuation analyses • Prepare and present client materials (information memoranda, presentations, pitch books) • Coordinate due diligence and support negotiations with lenders, sponsors and other stakeholders • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, sponsors and advisors • Mentor and develop junior team members

🎯 Requirements

• 4–8+ years of experience in investment banking or a comparable advisory role (restructuring, leverage finance, special situations or related areas) • Excellent analytical and technical skills; confident in building and reviewing complex Excel-based models • Strong interest in financial restructuring, special situations and capital structure topics • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment • Team player with high integrity, strong communication skills and an ownership mindset • Fluent in German and English (both required) • Strong academic track record in finance, economics, business, or a related field
