📋 Description

• Shape the company’s data infrastructure and develop robust data models • Create and maintain complex, scalable Snowflake data models using dbt • Expose datasets in BI tooling to enable self-service analytics • Perform simple data ingestion using no-code tools and maintain streamlined data flows • Add metadata, documentation, data quality checks, and sensitive data masking to datasets • Push data from Snowflake into operational tools • Identify and escalate data quality issues to process owners • Lead training initiatives to drive BI tool adoption • Mentor junior analytics engineers and foster knowledge-sharing • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and deliver high-value data solutions

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in analytics engineering or related data roles • Advanced SQL expertise • Expertise with dbt and Snowflake • Proficiency with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, or Snowsight • Experience delivering clear, actionable insights to business stakeholders • Experience with data ingestion and activation using no-code tools such as Fivetran or Stitch • Knowledge of metadata management, documentation, data quality checks, and sensitive data masking • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and understand their data needs • Experience conducting training sessions • Experience providing informal mentorship to junior analytics team members
