📋 Description

• Lead strategic initiatives supporting finance, accounting, and operational functions across domestic and international operations • Oversee complex projects involving financial systems, process improvements, regulatory initiatives, technology implementations, and ERP-related projects • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and business leadership teams on financial reporting requirements and insurance accounting standards • Drive projects from concept through implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives • Initiate projects by identifying business solutions, developing business cases and project charters, and drafting budgets • Establish project objectives, work breakdown structures, schedules, resources, training plans, milestones, stakeholder plans, and communications • Lead requirements, estimation, risk, constraint, dependency, contingency, and stakeholder management • Lead project execution meetings, monitor progress, resolve issues, coordinate deliverables, and support decision-making • Produce executive reports and status communications • Manage resources, training, and knowledge transfer • Control scope and requirements changes and maintain change histories • Generate and update project KPIs • Ensure Software Quality Assurance compliance • Support vendor management and due diligence; monitor vendor activities • Identify lessons learned and monitor project benefits realization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial Administration, Business Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a related field preferred • CPA and/or MBA are a plus • 5 years of Project Management experience is required • An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree • Bilingual in English and Spanish • Experience implementing financial projects is desirable • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred • Ability to travel • Experience leading ERP, financial systems, or Workday Financials implementation projects • Knowledge or experience with regulatory standards and change initiatives • Project Management, Agile Methodology, and Systems Development Life Cycle knowledge • MS Project knowledge • Knowledge of the insurance industry • Basic knowledge of finance applications is desirable
