📋 Description

• Review and triage fraud alerts and monitoring reports across assigned populations to identify unusual or potentially fraudulent activity. • Establish expected activity profiles and compare observed versus expected activity to identify fraud patterns. • Document triage determinations, including resolution, case consolidation, immediate card action, or full case investigation. • Conduct end-to-end fraud case investigations using account, transaction, device, and relationship data. • Perform case build-out, evidence gathering, narrative documentation, and case closure. • Prepare and refer SAR- and CTR-eligible activity to BSA/AML Operations. • Execute card actions, including blocking, unblocking, closing, and reissuing cards. • Document reviews, analyses, and dispositions in Actimize and tracking spreadsheets. • Escalate SAR-eligible, immediate-attention, terrorist-financing, human-trafficking, or imminent-loss indicators same business day. • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to fraud monitoring, card status, and cardholder verification. • Maintain service levels, production, and quality standards.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent. • Typically requires less than two years of related experience. • Exposure to fraud, payments, banking operations, or customer service required. • Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction analysis and documentation. • Ability to manage a daily workload and meet same-day and SLA-driven deadlines. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Self-sufficient and well organized with support; comfortable working across multiple systems and monitoring reports. • Foundational understanding of fraud red flags and typologies preferred, including account takeover, first-party fraud, and card-not-present fraud.
