📋 Description
• Completes or supervises completion of investigations of allegations such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, hostile work environment, and policy violations • Coaches and educates HR Partners and NorthStar people managers on implementing resolutions for behavioral and performance management challenges • Supplies guidance to people managers in composing all corrective actions or performance reviews • Enters, supports, and updates all incidents, complaints, and investigations to the company’s incident management system • Manages relationships with union representatives
🎯 Requirements
• Excellent oral and written communication skills • Thorough understanding of state and federal laws concerning labor and employee relations • Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in discussing and/or negotiating controversial and/or confrontational situations • Ability to present educational material for conducting training and education sessions • Must work independently, collaboratively, and with direction • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Office 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) • Ability to compose reports, memos, letters, and other correspondence • Experience working in a complex business environment with 24x7 shifts essential
