📋 Description

• Own, build, and operate a technically deep system with its own technical strategy • Drive technical specifications and make consequential build, scale, or kill decisions • Optimize systems end to end across ownership boundaries • Address high-leverage problems, scope solutions, and build them with agent support • Instrument shipped systems for adoption, usage, and measurable delivered value • Mentor engineers toward owning highly complex systems • Identify and mitigate engineering, security, data, and AI-specific risks before release • Lead adoption of new techniques from discovery through hardened production • Document systems so other teams can consume them without standing coordination meetings • Build and operate AI evaluation and validation infrastructure • Monitor evolving AI techniques and vulnerability classes and ship production responses

🎯 Requirements

• Must hold valid right to work in United States • Build and operate a technically deep system requiring its own technical strategy • Make high-stakes decisions about what to build, scale, or kill on ambiguous problems • Systems thinking across ownership boundaries and end-to-end optimization • Instrument systems for adoption, usage, and data-backed value measurement • Mentor engineers toward owning highly complex systems • Apply heightened safety and security standards, including AI-specific risks • Run discovery, spikes, prototypes, proofs of concept, and hardened production rollouts • Write precise technical documentation • Understand AI capabilities and limitations • Use enterprise-approved AI tools (Claude) • Apply data classification and privacy principles when using AI systems • Practice responsible AI, including bias mitigation, fairness, and transparency • Advanced prompting proficiency, including multi-turn context setting, chain-of-thought elicitation, structured output enforcement, and iterative refinement • Build and own evaluation and validation infrastructure for AI systems • Scrutinize agent-produced code • Track state-of-the-art techniques and AI-specific vulnerability classes • Track record of owning an organization-critical problem space • Experience mentoring Software Engineers toward complex-system ownership • Experience taking techniques from external sources through prototype, proof of concept, and safety-reviewed production rollout • Pre-employment ID verification, reference requests, and qualification checks required for successful candidates
