📋 Description

• Contribute hands-on through coding, design, and reviews using PHP, Symfony, JavaScript, and SQL. • Lead architectural design to deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions. • Troubleshoot complex challenges and champion clean coding standards, automated testing (PHPUnit, Cypress), and modern DevOps practices. • Contribute to the technical roadmap, driving modernization and long-term maintainability. • Guide your team through agile ceremonies to ensure alignment and momentum. • Partner with Product Owners to translate business needs into actionable development tasks. • Shield the team from distractions, remove blockers, and foster a collaborative environment. • Break down complex projects into technical tasks with realistic commitments. • Track progress, provide visibility into risks and timelines, and collaborate with other team leads. • Provide timely, constructive feedback and coach team members toward their career goals. • Identify skill gaps and advocate for training or learning opportunities.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in software development with deep expertise in PHP, Symfony (or similar), MySQL, and Doctrine ORM. • Skilled in JavaScript (jQuery, AngularJS, or similar) and testing frameworks like PHPUnit and Cypress. • Proven experience mentoring or leading teams, with a passion for developing talent and fostering collaboration. • Solid understanding of Scrum or Kanban, with the ability to facilitate ceremonies and keep the team focused. • Hands-on experience writing and executing unit tests with PHPUnit (or a similar PHP testing framework). • Are you currently located in Canada and legally authorized to work here without employer sponsorship?
