📋 Description

• Lead installation, setup, and configuration of advanced systems such as machine vision tunnels, RFID systems, conveyors, and robotics • Provide expert guidance on installation best practices, system calibration, and troubleshooting • Mentor and train junior technicians and customer teams on system operation and maintenance • Act as the primary technical contact during installations, ensuring clear communication and exceptional customer service • Conduct site assessments to verify infrastructure readiness (power, networking, environmental conditions) • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues during and after installation • Perform preventive maintenance and create detailed service reports • Develop and maintain installation guides, wiring diagrams, and calibration reports • Ensure compliance with safety standards (Lockout-Tagout, Hazmat, Industrial Safety) • Travel extensively (75–100%) to customer sites across the U.S., including overnight stays

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree in Engineering, Electronics, or related field (bachelor's preferred) OR 7+ years of equivalent experience • 5+ years in field service or installation roles, with advanced experience in: • Machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, Basler, Matrox, Teledyne/FLIR) • PLC integration (Allen Bradley, Siemens) • Electrical and mechanical system installation and troubleshooting • Knowledge of IP networking and industrial communication protocols • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and create technical documentation • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows-based applications • Valid driver’s license and ability to qualify for company credit card • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
