📋 Description

• Work within the Security Operation Centre as a first-line responder to incidents triggered by security toolsets • Respond to technical support inquiries and manage individual SOC ticket queues • Ensure SLAs are met and severity and status changes are appropriate • Execute proactive threat hunting in clients' environments • Assist in developing Threat Intelligence within the business • Provide in-depth analysis of security incidents • Assist analysts with creating new use cases, reports, dashboards and automation capabilities • Document all triggered incidents and metrics for SOC management analysis • Work a 7–7 shift on a 4-on/4-off basis, including 2 days and 2 nights

🎯 Requirements

• Infrastructure and network background • Necessary security qualifications to respond to and assist in remediation of security incidents • Experience with SIEM tools, preferably Microsoft Sentinel • Experience and qualifications in Microsoft Azure • Experience working with an ITSM • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Flexibility to work shift patterns • Must have lived continuously in the UK for at least 5 years • Must have no criminal record to achieve the required security clearance
