📋 Description

• Create subtitle files through conforming, translating, or proofreading/QC assignments using Pixelogic and/or client proprietary cloud-based subtitling software • Use the in-house glossary tool and follow client style guide specifications • Handle file rejections and make corrections • Remain current with industry trends and adapt to evolving client requirements • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive content • Establish a professional, high-performing collaboration with Pixelogic’s language services department to support end-to-end client projects

🎯 Requirements

• Native or near-native English proficiency • Advanced or native proficiency in Chinese • Minimum of 2 years of professional Chinese-to-English subtitling translation and/or proofreading/QC experience • Professional experience with film, television, streaming, or other audiovisual content • Excellent English writing skills, with strong attention to accuracy, grammar, punctuation, tone, and natural phrasing • Ability to accurately understand and translate Chinese-language audiovisual content into natural English subtitles • Ability to follow client-specific style guides and technical specifications • Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines and accommodate short turnaround times • Ability to work with cloud-based subtitling tools and platforms
