📋 Description

• Perform timely, accurate radiation planning for prescribed therapeutic doses of high-energy radiation treatments • Use linear accelerators, HDR afterloaders, and seed calculations • Manage treatment-planning requests professionally and promptly to ensure high-quality outcomes and rapid access to treatment • Support innovation, clinical trials, and research opportunities to improve patient outcomes • Prioritize and manage time in a demanding environment • Complete treatment plans as required to support the dosimetry network • Maintain licensure and comply with professional and regulatory requirements • Communicate plan details to physicians for approval and to RTTs for plan implementation

🎯 Requirements

• Board Certified in Medical Dosimetry from the MDCB • Florida RTT license preferred • 5+ years of experience as a medical dosimetrist • 5+ years as a licensed radiation therapist preferred • Highly efficient in basic computer and typing skills • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills • Experience with 3D, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRT, SGRT, and HDR treatments • Working knowledge of radiation safety • Correct use of immobilization devices and other treatment variables • Travel when required to meetings and/or coverage to other offices as needed
