📋 Description

• Lead new and existing CRO laboratory projects across assay development, clinical testing, biorepository/sample management and logistics, and kitting for client studies • Manage designated protocols and overall project performance and client satisfaction throughout project lifecycles • Provide internal consulting on project management issues and identify process and efficiency improvements • Serve as cross-functional lead and monitor operational delivery against contracted timelines and budgets • Lead projects from conception through close-out, including planning, execution, risk management, communications, stakeholder management, scope and cost control • Create and manage project timelines, budgets, revenue goals, forecasts, and resource plans • Coordinate and supervise scheduled activities, delegating responsibilities as appropriate • Lead implementation of new and ongoing studies for clients and collaborators • Coordinate project development, implementation, data gathering, and reporting • Communicate with clients and collaborators regarding data management, inventory control, and shipping procedures • Prepare and present project information, reports, and correspondence for internal and external meetings • Track project revenue, expenses, billing, budgets, and variances • Create, track, and report project and business metrics • Identify out-of-scope work and escalate findings and action plans • Review and update project documentation to approvable status • Assess and mitigate technical, project, and business risks • Ensure deliverables comply with design, performance, regulatory, and client standards • Identify and resolve operational issues, adjust priorities, and complete tasks supporting project, client, and departmental objectives • Mentor junior Project Managers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field, such as engineering • Experience working as a Project Manager for Central Laboratories at a CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech company • Excellent listening and communication skills • Excellent computer skills and experience with MS Office/MS 365 applications • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills • Exceptional emotional intelligence • Strong understanding of project management and data analysis • Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Exceptional research and reporting skills • Exceptional judgment and discretion • Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and comprehend English • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays, approximately 10–25% • Extended work hours may be necessary to meet business demands
