📋 Description

• Conduct thorough reviews of financial statements, general ledgers, and supporting documentation • Analyze financial data and trends to identify discrepancies, irregularities, and areas for improvement • Perform detailed account reconciliations and investigate variances • Supervise and manage the outsourced accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports • Collaborate with hospitality operations teams to review financial transactions and provide insights • Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts • Support year-end income tax filing documentation and regulatory compliance reviews • Perform impromptu projects as directed by management • Report directly to the Controller

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on financial review and analysis • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards • Experience in the hospitality industry preferred • Proficiency in accounting software (Yardi, Sage, R365, xtraCHEF) • Advanced Excel skills • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with keen attention to detail • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • CPA certification is a plus
