📋 Description

• Provide tactical legal advice and support to internal clients, typically at the Director or Vice President level • Support PBM, pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, government programs, administrative support functions, and other assigned areas • Perform legal research, drafting, and transactional work • Focus on client-facing contracting and support account management functions • Advise internal clients on regulatory requirements and corporate policies • Develop and facilitate legal training • Investigate issues as needed • Provide client training on legal principles • Coordinate partnerships with in-house and outside legal resources • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Juris doctor degree • Current license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction • 5 years of experience practicing as an attorney or related legal experience in a regulatory or compliance role • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with managed care companies or other health care clients • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship • Strong transactional skills, including drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks with competing priorities • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships among all levels of the organization • Demonstrated ability to distill complex concepts or situations into concise and compelling communications • Expert communication and influencing skills • Preferred: Experience with PBMs, pharmacies and/or health benefit insurers • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with reasonable accommodations where applicable • Must comply with security responsibilities, legal, regulatory, contractual requirements, and internal policies and procedures
