📋 Description

• Lead the Cloud Platform and SRE teams and oversee the technical foundation and reliability enabling Prolific to scale securely and efficiently • Provide leadership, coaching, and professional growth opportunities for Platform teams • Drive the strategic direction of infrastructure and platform services, including Kubernetes (GKE) clusters • Own availability and embed SRE principles, including defining SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets • Enhance observability and incident remediation • Own the developer-facing platform, golden paths, self-service infrastructure, and internal tooling • Manage the platform roadmap and adoption metrics • Ensure cloud environments remain secure and compliant with SOC2 and ISO-27001 standards • Drive technical decision-making and build scalable, resilient, and maintainable systems • Collaborate in cross-functional teams across Engineering, Platform, Product, Data, Design, and Research

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience leading teams in infrastructure and SRE domains, with a track record of scaling platforms and people • Several years of deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Terragrunt, Crossplane) • Experience with GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD • Solid understanding of complex infrastructure and application architecture • Understanding of observability principles and incident management • Experience balancing platform stability and reliability with developer productivity and velocity • Fluency in translating complex technical solutions and feasibility into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Terraform, Terragrunt, Crossplane, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Django Rest Framework, container-based services, Serverless architectures, MongoDB, Postgres, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Celery, EventBridge, and DataDog
