📋 Description

• Take technical ownership of the production infrastructure supporting Cintra's SaaS payroll products • Consolidate platform responsibilities currently distributed across several development teams • Establish consistent standards for infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, security, recovery and production support • Build and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure and automated deployment processes • Manage production monitoring, observability, security, backup and disaster recovery • Provide incident management, root-cause analysis, runbooks and P1 production support • Collaborate with development teams as a senior technical owner rather than in a people-management capacity

🎯 Requirements

• Senior, hands-on Platform / DevOps engineering experience • Strong hands-on AWS experience • Ideally, experience with Azure and/or GCP and ability to own a multi-cloud estate • Strong Terraform experience, including modules, state management, standards and controlled infrastructure changes • Experience building and maintaining automated deployment pipelines using CircleCI, Azure Pipelines or equivalent • Experience with cloud networking: VPC/VNET, routing, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, security groups and connectivity • Operational experience with SQL Server/Azure SQL, PostgreSQL/Aurora and/or MySQL availability, security, backup and recovery • Experience with Datadog, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Monitoring or equivalent • Experience with SSO, cloud IAM, privileged/JIT access, service accounts and secrets management • Experience with cloud hardening, least privilege, vulnerability remediation, certificates and secure production access • Experience with backup strategy, restore testing, failover, RTO/RPO and disaster-recovery planning • Strong incident-management skills, root-cause analysis, runbooks and P1 production support • Useful experience with AWS ECS, EC2, S3, CloudFront, Aurora, DynamoDB and Cognito • Useful experience with Azure App Services, Azure SQL and Azure Storage • Useful experience with GCP App Engine, Cloud SQL, Datastore and Cloud Storage • Useful experience with Windows Server, RDP/RDWeb and mixed Windows/Linux estates • Useful experience with Ansible or other configuration-management tooling • Useful experience with Rollbar and application/infrastructure logging • Experience with cloud cost optimisation and capacity management
