📋 Description

• Lead the design, implementation and delivery of complex infrastructure projects • Build and scale infrastructure for AI workloads, including cost, API reliability and platform support for LLM-powered features • Debug cluster behaviour under load, service-to-service traffic, event-backbone consumer lag and database performance • Own the infrastructure-as-code estate, keeping drift visible and reconciled and setting module standards • Advance delivery pipelines with policy-as-code gates, progressive delivery and tested, reviewed and auditable changes • Contribute to internal AI tooling, including the MCP server and agentic workflows that reduce operational toil • Engineer cost controls through right-sizing, reserved capacity and waste removal • Mentor peers through pairing, code review and knowledge sharing • Cover security and governance in collaboration with the infrastructure team • Deliver outcomes including reduced operational effort, improved platform reliability, systemic incident fixes, end-to-end infrastructure projects, reconciled drift and adopted standards

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering skills in at least one programming language, with ability to move between languages • Production infrastructure ownership on a major cloud platform, including incident experience • Deep infrastructure-as-code knowledge, including state and module design • Production Kubernetes experience, including debugging misbehaving clusters • CI/CD fluency, including pipeline design • Fluent, critical use of AI tooling and understanding of its limitations • Ability to work remotely in an async-first environment • Calm, methodical incident response and clear communication under pressure • GMT+0 to GMT+4 overlap with the UK team • Desirable: freight, logistics, supply chain, B2B SaaS or operational technology experience • Desirable: workflow automation or orchestration experience, such as n8n • Desirable: service mesh, event streaming at scale or managed Postgres-compatible database experience • Desirable: identity and access management, SSO, secret management or SRE methodology familiarity • Desirable: experience building with LLM APIs, MCP servers or agentic tooling
