📋 Description

• Assist the Project Director and project team with research-related tasks • Obtain archival documents and data • Verify and compile data • Prepare data collection materials • Set up project equipment and supplies • Support survey-related activities, including potentially recruiting participants and capturing data • Maintain accurate and organized project records • Ensure data integrity and accessibility • Communicate with team members and share project insights and updates • Contribute to a National Survey of Attitudes and Beliefs on Driving, Drinking, and Drug Use for the U.S. Department of Transportation and NHTSA • Meet project milestones and delivery schedules • Produce thorough, accurate, and appropriately documented work products

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences or Public Health • Entry-level position with demonstrated interest in research and project support • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset • Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio; ability to learn other tools • Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail • Strong oral and written communication skills • Ability to initiate, develop, and maintain mutually beneficial client relationships • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical reports or journals • Ability to respond to internal and external client inquiries • Ability to write scopes of work, budget estimates, schedules, reports of findings, proposals, correspondence, and technical documents • Ability to present information to top management, clients, public groups, and boards of directors • Clear vision and depth perception • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • Ability to remain sharp, focused, and alert during site inspections, client interactions, and report preparation • Ability to communicate with clients at all levels • Must understand and communicate in both written and spoken Spanish and English in the specialized field of Transportation Engineering • U.S. Citizenship required • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products • Must meet background-check requirements when applicable • No H-1B or TN visa sponsorship available
