📋 Description

• Provide specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management for children and young people with mental health conditions • Assess and treat ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) where experienced • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team • Deliver evidence-based interventions and support to patients • Work autonomously within multidisciplinary clinical services • Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centred care • Support the expanded Children and Young People service through Right to Choose • Participate in a digital-first, remote clinical service model

🎯 Requirements

• Medical degree with a postgraduate qualification (MRCPsych or equivalent) • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice • Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or Paediatrics • Minimum of two years’ post-CCT practice in CAMHS and/or community neurodevelopmental pathways • Extensive clinical experience in Child and Young Person (CYP) mental health services • Experience working autonomously within multidisciplinary clinical services • Strong understanding of clinical governance frameworks and regulatory requirements in mental health services • High-level clinical judgement and decision-making across complex CYP presentations • In-depth knowledge of evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of CYP mental health conditions, including ADHD and ASD • Ability to adapt to digital-first and remote clinical service delivery models • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders and service users • Ability to manage competing priorities efficiently • Ability to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care in line with clinical governance and professional standards
