📋 Description

• Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy and plan • Build and manage a 30–90 day editorial calendar • Design and roll out communications programmes supporting business plans • Partner with Marketing, Product, Legal, Investor Relations, Public Affairs, Customer, and People teams • Champion AI and emerging technologies in communications • Ghost-write executive communications, strategic memos, announcements, and video scripts • Advise the CPO and executive team on business strategy, milestones, customer wins, and organisational change • Build a manager cascade system with toolkits, talking points, and FAQs • Audit and improve Google Chat, QAD Connect/intranet, email, Slack, and other internal channels • Build communications infrastructure using intranet, webinars, town halls, and related tools • Establish publishing standards for internal communications • Own end-to-end all-hands events, including agendas, narratives, decks, speaker coaching, facilitation, and follow-through • Rebuild all-hands events to improve interaction, information value, attendance, and sentiment • Lead communications for benefits, performance cycles, talent programmes, recognition campaigns, CSR, DE&I, Wellbeing, and Alumni initiatives • Create playbooks, templates, governance guidelines, handoff documentation, and reusable infrastructure • Deliver a communications audit and functioning editorial calendar within six months • Produce at least two improved all-hands events • Launch a manager cascade toolkit • Reorganise the intranet and Slack • Embed AI tools into communications workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience leading global communications at scale • Significant experience leading global communications within a UK or US PE-backed business • 6+ years leading internal or corporate communications • Experience in a global technology or software environment • Experience communicating business strategy, not only HR updates • Deep experience advising and writing for C-suite leaders • Proven ability to work across Marketing, Product, Legal, Finance, and People teams • Hands-on experience producing virtual and hybrid all-hands events at scale • Experience with Zoom Events, Teams Live, or equivalent • High emotional intelligence and cross-cultural awareness • Ability to write for audiences across multiple continents and time zones • Fluency in Slack, Microsoft Teams/SharePoint, and intranet CMS platforms • Curiosity about AI tools for writing, workflow, and communications effectiveness • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, Marketing, or equivalent experience
