📋 Description

• Build a new AI-native sourcing engine for Europe, Africa and the Middle East • Map markets, structure underlying data, and design screening and ranking of opportunities at scale • Build a fintech network and represent Quona at ecosystem events • Support business, financial and technology due diligence through deal closing • Develop financial models and company valuation analyses • Draft pre-screen and investment committee memos • Conduct thematic research and competitive deep dives within fintech sub-sectors • Support portfolio companies and management teams on operational projects and long-term decision making • Prepare boards, analyze KPIs, and track performance against plan • Support live exit processes, including buyer mapping, secondary strategy and exit planning • Collaborate with Quona investment, global investment and platform teams

🎯 Requirements

• Approximately four to six years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting or a comparable analytical role • Pre-MBA, mid-MBA or post-MBA candidates accepted • Genuine appetite for the apprenticeship model and hands-on learning • Connection to Africa, MENA or emerging markets through background, work or deliberately built network • Enthusiasm for technology, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion and investing • Exceptional analytical skills and advanced financial modelling ability • Ability to take initiative and work independently in a fast-paced, geographically distributed team • Excellent English business writing and communication skills • AI fluency beyond chatbot document summarization • Evidence of building workflows, databases, screening tools, evaluation systems, agents or internal products used by others • Ability to exercise judgment about model accuracy, overrides and manual processes • Domain expertise in financial services or financial technology is desired • Experience evaluating investment opportunities is desired • Existing network in African or MENA startup and venture ecosystems is desired • Arabic or French is desired
