📋 Description

• Install computer and hardware components on large commercial trucks • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in a timely and professional manner • Provide technical assistance to the Technical Support Team • Prepare customer shipments, including light in-house component assembly, hardware configuration, unit burn-in, data logging, and packing/shipping • Process return material authorizations (RMAs) • Administer internal and external paperwork and record keeping • Repair hardware and software units, troubleshoot issues, and communicate bugs to development engineers • Perform other duties as assigned • Travel across the UK and Northern Ireland up to 70% of the time, with trips of up to two weeks for certain projects

🎯 Requirements

• Aptitude for computer hardware and technology, plus some mechanical skills • Strong troubleshooting skills • Knowledge of basic tools, principles, and procedures for installing computer systems in heavy-duty vehicles preferred • Solid track record of high-quality electronics installations • High personal motivation, initiative, and flexibility • Experience troubleshooting computer hardware and software • Ability to work well with a team • Experience communicating effectively with peers, other departments, and external customers • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Tech savvy • Creative problem-solving ability • Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and manage time efficiently • Experience with CRM software, ideally Salesforce • Experience with Microsoft and Google Office Suites • Ability to work hands-on with team members • High standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized • Willingness and ability to travel across the UK and Northern Ireland up to 70% of the time
