📋 Description

• Support and enhance Workday Extend applications and drive continuous improvement of Extend functionality. • Act as key point of contact for Workday Extend apps and maintain existing solutions. • Support resolution of L2 & L3-level production issues within Workday Extend. • Collaborate with HR business units (HR BUs) and Functional COEs to gather business requirements and implement new functionality. • Create and enhance Extend applications using PMD Scripting, Orchestration, Model Components, and APIs (REST & SOAP). • Coordinate communications with HR and Payroll stakeholders regarding system changes, outages, and new functionality. • Demonstrate new solutions and prototypes to stakeholders to showcase potential improvements. • Report to the HR Technology Regional Lead and participate in ongoing projects to deliver new functionalities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (Advanced degree preferred). • 6+ years of experience with HR systems. • 4+ years working in a Workday environment. • 3+ years working specifically with Workday Extend & Studio. • Strong knowledge of Workday Extend, Core Integrations, and Studio. • Proficiency in Workday Extend development including PMD Scripting, Orchestration, REST & SOAP APIs. • Advanced knowledge of Workday report writing, Calculated Fields, and Data Conversion. • Experience with JSON, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, and other application development technologies. • Workday certifications in Integration Core and Workday Extend & Studio. • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMP, ITIL, AGILE, or WATERFALL. • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical information to diverse stakeholders. • Self-starter with a passion for technology and ability to learn quickly and independently.
