📋 Description

• Perform load calculations used for sizing studies of future aircraft or major modifications • Determine component loads, including calculations of loads on specific parts • Potentially perform ground loads calculations for landings, brakings, turns, and rollings • Potentially perform flight loads calculations for longitudinal and lateral manoeuvres, load alleviation functions, gusts, and failure cases • Potentially perform aeroelastics calculations, including flutter calculations and control-surface limit-cycle oscillations • Join and contribute to the growing SAFRAN Engineering Services UK team

🎯 Requirements

• Mechanical / Aerospace / Structural Engineering degree • Knowledge of Flight Physics, Flight Loads, Ground Loads, Aeroelastics, and Aerodynamics • Understanding of airplane behavior and physical sense • Python coding (mandatory) • Matlab tools experience • Strong ability to plan and schedule activities across multiple modules • Attention to detail • Effective communication skills, able to clearly define expectations and gain understanding • Team spirit with capacity to interact with multicultural teams
