📋 Description

• Design, build, and operate backend services within a Java-based, event-driven microservices architecture • Use AI as a core part of the development workflow • Deliver secure, optimized, high-quality code • Make sound technical decisions with incomplete information • Critically evaluate personal, teammate, and AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and performance • Help carry the Revenue Cloud Rating product and team through transition following Salesforce's acquisition of m3ter

🎯 Requirements

• 4–5 years of backend Java experience • Experience building and operating microservice and event-driven architectures • Strong tolerance for ambiguity and judgment to work independently • Ability to make decisions as a team and product transition into a new organization • Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex • Prompt engineering skill to make AI outputs reliable and production-ready • Experience evaluated based on alignment to core competencies, including extracurricular leadership, military experience, or volunteer work • Experience with team or product integration following an acquisition is desirable • Experience with usage-based billing, metering, or rating systems is desirable • Experience contributing to a shared system context is desirable
