📋 Description

• Manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support servers and storage systems for program and its customers • Work with existing OS and Storage teams to manage mixed and growing environment of various storage hardware • Assist with implementing new system hardware and software and provide input for developing local operating procedures and policies • Monitor ongoing operation of systems and provide utilization reports using existing tools to identify problems and corrective actions • Recommend, demonstrate, and implement technologies to expand, upgrade, and increase efficiencies to the current environment • Implement installation and configuration of backup software across Windows Server, Solaris, and RHEL environments • Follow and create Standard Operating Procedures for disaster recovery and repeatable processes

🎯 Requirements

• High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience) • Clearance Required: Secret • CompTIA Security+ • Computing Environment (CE) Certification (can be waived for 30 days after project join date) • Experience in Computer Science or IT • 3+ years of experience in design, installation, configuration, security, and maintenance of highly available enterprise data storage systems • 3+ years' experience maintain storage and network policies and standards • 3+ years' experience refreshing data from one environment to another at the request of the application development staff • 3+ years' experience creating, maintaining, following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and common problem resolution • 3+ years' experience with MS-Windows, Solaris, and RHEL/OEL Linux environments • 3+ years’ experience administering applicable storage networks • 3+ years' experience with VMWare 7.x or greater • 3+ years' experience with network communication (IP based) • Installation and configuration experience of backup SW with Windows Server 2019, Solaris 11, RedHat Enterprise Linux 7 and higher • Experience with both Windows Powershell and Bash shell scripting • Strong CLI skills • Strong interpersonal skills and willing to be a team player • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science • Preferred: 3+ years’ experience supporting Cybersecurity patch management and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), SRG, RMF, SCA-V, and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA)
