• Conduct comprehensive dyslexia assessments in accordance with SASC and JCQ requirements. • Complete Form 8 assessments to support access arrangements. • Produce high-quality, clear, and actionable diagnostic reports that support student learning, intervention planning, and exam access recommendations. • Maintain rigorous assessment standards, ensuring ethical, evidence-based practice. • Deliver, as required, specialised teaching for learners with dyslexia and related SpLDs. • Plan and deliver structured, personalised intervention programmes. • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents, staff, and the SEN team. • Work closely with the SEN department, teachers, and pastoral staff to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting learners. • Provide guidance, training, and best-practice advice to staff on identifying and supporting students with dyslexia. • Support whole-school approaches to inclusive education and raise awareness of SpLD needs across the school.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Level 7 qualification in SpLD (e.g., Postgraduate Diploma in Dyslexia or equivalent) • Current APC registration (or AMBDA with a valid APC) • Demonstrated experience delivering dyslexia assessments and writing full diagnostic reports • Experience completing JCQ-compliant assessments for access arrangements • Knowledge of current legislation and guidance surrounding SpLD assessment and provision • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a remote setting • Commitment to inclusive education and ongoing professional growth.
