📋 Description

• Review and approve commercial scripts, social media content, email, and marketplace listings for FDA and FTC compliance • Flag risky claims and recommend compliant alternatives • Support claims substantiation by reviewing and organizing evidence and maintaining records • Assess claims against the competent and reliable scientific evidence standard • Review supplement labels, packaging, and ingredient disclosures • Assist with regulatory SOPs, processes, and internal guidance • Conduct or assist with Serious Adverse Event Reporting investigations and documentation • Monitor FDA, FTC, and NAD developments, warning letters, and relevant industry litigation • Prepare and present recurring industry updates to cross-functional teams • Partner with Marketing, R&D, Product Development, and Quality throughout the product lifecycle • Manage the company trademark program, including initial searches, records, and coordination with legal counsel for USPTO submissions

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3 years of regulatory affairs experience in dietary supplements • Working understanding that product claims must be substantiated • Understanding of FDA and FTC regulation of dietary supplements • Experience reviewing labels and/or promotional materials for compliance • Familiarity with DSHEA, 21 CFR Part 111, and structure/function claim basics • Bachelor's degree in a life science, food science, or related field • DTC or eCommerce experience, including online marketplace compliance such as Amazon • Comfort reviewing specifications or Certificates of Analysis (COAs) • Experience assisting with SOP development or regulatory process improvement • Prior experience working within AI systems such as Claude and Notion AI • Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer • Comfortable working West Coast (PST) hours until 4:30pm PST
