📋 Description

• Lead coordination of physical security requirements during project design • Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews and identify design conflicts, constructability concerns, and enhancement opportunities • Review architectural, civil, and landscape designs for perimeter protection, gates, barriers, access control, CCTV coverage, and security operations facilities • Provide expertise on CPTED, layered security, and security-in-depth strategies • Coordinate security requirements with site circulation, egress, utilities, landscaping, and operational considerations • Recommend solutions balancing security, operational, aesthetic, and budget requirements • Review RFIs, technical submittals, shop drawings, product data, and equipment specifications • Coordinate drawing revisions, project updates, and design handovers • Conduct QA/QC site inspections to verify installation compliance • Produce site assessment reports, non-conformance reports, punch lists, and corrective action recommendations • Capture field feedback, lessons learned, and installation challenges • Deliver security consultancy services aligned with client requirements, regulations, and standards • Prepare consultancy reports, technical studies, cost analyses, and procurement recommendations • Lead client-facing meetings and workshops and document actions and outcomes • Apply security risk management methodologies and recommend mitigation measures • Communicate technical, strategic, and design information through reports, presentations, and formal submissions • Develop relationships with stakeholders, clients, and senior business leaders across concurrent EMEA projects • Drive design workgroups and maintain client information confidentiality and integrity

🎯 Requirements

• Third-level qualification in Electronics is highly desirable • 3–5 years’ experience with IP video and access-controlled enterprise security systems • Experience in security system design and telecommunications environments • Experience using CAD and Bluebeam, with understanding of BIM • Knowledge of Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, Software House, Milestone, and Avigilon • Understanding of perimeter protection, gates, fencing, barriers, CPTED, PAS ratings, and Secure by Design principles • Knowledge of EN and BS standards for security design and installation • Understanding of door ironmongery and physical security infrastructure requirements • Data centre sector experience advantageous • Knowledge of physical security system design • Knowledge of CCTV and access control systems • Technical document and drawing review skills • Security consultancy and risk assessment experience • QA/QC inspection skills • Electrical aptitude and schematic interpretation • Knowledge of security design standards and technical reporting • Stakeholder management, client engagement, workshop facilitation, and technical presentation skills • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Willingness to travel frequently to job sites
