📋 Description

• At Serve Robotics, we’re reimagining how things move in cities. • Our personable sidewalk robot is our vision for the future. • The Serve fleet has been delighting merchants, customers, and pedestrians along the way in Los Angeles while doing commercial deliveries. • As a Senior Software Engineer on the Delivery Platform team, you will design and build highly scalable and robust systems that power our Delivery and Fleet Management platforms. • You’ll spend most of your time coding, designing, and reviewing Elixir code, contributing to mission-critical infrastructure that supports our growing fleet of delivery robots.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development • 2+ years of experience with Elixir or Erlang, ideally in building scalable, distributed systems. • Solid understanding of concurrency, fault tolerance, and event-driven architectures. • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. • Experience working on cross-functional teams in agile environments. • Clear communicator comfortable discussing both technical and product-related topics. • Strong interest in crafting well-designed, production-grade systems and tools. • A passion for backend development, systems thinking, and performance optimization.
