• Service existing customers, obtain orders and establish new customers by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade contacts. • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers. • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules and merchandising techniques. • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks • Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Excellent written and verbal communication • Positive, professional attitude • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook • Proficient with Windows based ERP programs (brand specific not required) • Ability to travel regularly within assigned territory • Bachelors or Associates degree in business or related field • 5 or more years’ experience in a related position
