📋 Description

• Design and build platform services • Produce forward-looking designs and build microservices in Java, Spring, React, or TypeScript • Build and operate services on AWS using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) • Design and optimize real-time and batch data pipelines using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis • Implement RESTful APIs, message queuing patterns, and event-driven workflows • Use tools like Claude Code to accelerate development • Hold your work to a rigorous definition of done, own production reliability • Participate actively in code review with a focus on edge cases, security, and failure-mode handling • Provide structured feedback to engineers and write RFCs and design proposals

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • 5 plus years of progressive experience in software development, platform engineering, or distributed systems • 2+ years building production services, APIs, or microservices in cloud-native environments • Hands-on experience with AWS (or comparable), containerization, and modern deployment patterns • Demonstrated, judgment-driven use of AI development tools such as Claude Code • A consistent record of delivering complete, on-time work with rare post-release surprises • Experience mentoring engineers and providing structured technical feedback within a team
